With full-time RV life, there are wrong turns, dead ends, and steep grades along the way, but beautiful destinations and experiences together make the journey completely worth it.

I think you blew it! You should have been ab;e to get through that gate. Just up that road is a beautiful bathroom and fire tower to climb. And HUG horse trailers get through that gate and up that road. So you should have been able to do it. I have a video about that area on my channel !! Sory you missed it. There are many place a bit off the beaten path like that, that are true gems. Hope you enjoy the visit to my home state.

You mentioned on your video about using a RV GPS. Save your money. We have a Garmin RV GPS and it has gotten us lost or down some wicked roads. Lately we use a combination of the Garmin, my phone, Google Earth and a paper map. If we know where we are going we will try to map it out using all modes the night before. It can get really hairy when trying to maneuver a big rig through rough roads and narrow spaces.
